Oh Great Cthulhu!
I have been an extremely diligent devotee this year.
In March, I rammed a ship into you (sorry Cthulhu!) (-1000 points). In August, I exposed ![[info]](http://stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif)
agincourtgirl to soul-rending horrors (250 points). In February, I called down the wrath of Yog-Sothoth upon retrobabble (65 points). Yesterday, I defiled the grave of that traitor, Lovecraft (90 points). When the stars were right, I legally changed my name to Randolph Carter (-40 points). In October, I burnt my copy of the Necronomicon (-75 points).
In short, I have been very bad (-710 points) and deserve to be sent to sleep with the Deep Ones.

Being Julia from the library. Could not take my eyes off Bruce Greenwood whenever he was onscreen. Didn't have time to listen to the entire commentary, but there was a fantastic section where Jeremy Irons rabbits on for a while on how there's a balance to the things God made (e.g., bunnies and deer being swift but also easily visible to predators) and seguing from there into an extended conversation with Annette Bening on stage technique vs. film technique, conjuring emotional nakedness out of necessarily artificial surroundings, and what it means to
listen. Mmm.
Dinner tonight: tilapia (coated it in matzo meal and then pan-fried it), yellow squash with onion, naan, and a glass of Conundrum (white table wine). Going to bake apple brown betty in a bit (need to melt some more butter, having burned the first stick's worth).
